Sari Tran

Sari Tran is an experienced data scientist with a strong background in electrical and electronic engineering. At the Institute of High Performance Computing, Sari developed supervised learning models and optimized input materials for process yields in smart manufacturing. Sari previously worked as a research engineer at the Data Storage Institute, creating novel error detection algorithms for hard disk drives, securing a $1 million research grant, publishing multiple papers, and patenting an algorithm. Currently, Sari serves as a research data scientist at Meta, providing data science support for the development of degradation tools for applications and services. Sari holds a PhD and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Nanyang Technological University.
