Sarmad Saeed

Sarmad Saeed is a skilled Software Engineer with extensive experience in various roles focused on firmware development, machine learning, and system optimization. Currently employed at Meta since June 2025, Sarmad has previously contributed to Applied Intuition, Artyc, Machyna, Inc., and Cepton, where key achievements include leading firmware development for critical product lines, enhancing on-device inference for barcode scanning, and developing automated processes for data collection in LiDAR sensors. Academic qualifications include a graduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of California, Davis, and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST).
