Sasha Salter

Sasha Salter is an experienced AI Research Scientist at Meta since October 2022, with a robust academic background including a PhD in Machine Learning from the University of Oxford and a Master of Engineering in Engineering Science, also from the University of Oxford, where Sasha graduated with First Class Honours. Previous roles include a PhD research focus on sample-efficient embodied transfer learning at the Oxford Robotics Institute from October 2017 to June 2022, a Research Scientist Internship at DeepMind concentrating on skill transfer in reinforcement learning, and an Analyst position at Aurora Energy Research Ltd, where Sasha developed analysis to support client decision-making. Additionally, Sasha contributed to publisher operations at Yext and participated in a cutting-edge training program in autonomous intelligent systems at the University of Oxford.
