Seongyoung K.

Seongyoung K. has a strong background in computer science, holding a Bachelor's degree from Kookmin University and currently pursuing a PhD at UC Irvine. Seongyoung's professional experience includes a Research Internship at Samsung Semiconductor US, where a near-storage graph ingestion engine was designed, resulting in a published US patent. As a Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, high-performance, memory-optimized hardware accelerators were developed using FPGAs and non-volatile memory. Currently, Seongyoung serves as a Software Engineer at Meta, focusing on firmware and Android kernel development within the Wearable Core OS team. Additional experience includes a winter internship at Lablup Inc. as a Debian package developer.
