Serhan Isikman

Serhan Isikman is an accomplished professional in the field of optics and electrical engineering, with significant experience in both academic research and industry roles. A graduate of Koç University, holding a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering and Optics, Serhan completed a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical and Electronics Engineering with a focus on optics at UCLA. Professional experience includes tenure at the UCLA Bio-Nano Photonics Laboratory as a Graduate Student Researcher and multiple roles at Apple ranging from Optical Sensors Architect to Senior Manager of Display Optics. Currently, Serhan serves as Senior Manager and Director of AR Display Engines at Meta in Sunnyvale, California, having previously completed an internship at the Fraunhofer Institute for Photonic Microsystems and worked at Koç University as both an Undergraduate and Graduate Student Researcher.
