Shashank Lamba

Shashank Lamba is a Computer Science graduate from the University of Maryland, with extensive experience in software development and IT management. As a Software Intern at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory from July 2023 to May 2025, Shashank developed Scalable, an open-source Python module for efficient high-compute workflows, collaborating with over 10 scientists to implement solutions. Currently serving as a Network Production Engineer at Meta since May 2025, Shashank focuses on data center and high-performance computing networking systems. Previous positions include Lead at the University of Maryland's IT Desk, managing a team and resolving IT incidents, and as a Cybersecurity Research Intern at Breakerspace Lab, where Shashank automated data collection processes and designed programs to test network protocol vulnerabilities.
