Shen Zhang

Shen Zhang is a seasoned data scientist and statistician with extensive experience in statistical methodologies and machine learning applications. At Sumitomo Dainippon Pharma Oncology, Shen conducted simulation studies on Phase I design methods during a biostatistics internship. As a data scientist at Stat4ward, responsibilities included building machine learning pipelines for biomarker identification and model evaluation using R and Python. Shen further honed statistical expertise at Sanofi, developing methods for determining biomarker cut-points and collaborating on clinical research efforts. A graduate research and teaching assistant at The University of Texas at San Antonio, Shen contributed to the education of statistics students while applying Bayesian methods and machine learning algorithms in research.
