Sheng Song

Sheng Song is a seasoned software engineering leader with extensive experience in directing engineering teams at top technology companies. Currently serving as the Director of Software Engineering at Meta since July 2021, Sheng previously held the same position at Google from September 2005 to July 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing the Shopping Quality initiatives. Prior experience includes serving as a Systems Architect at Witness Systems Inc., following its acquisition of Blue Pumpkin Software Inc., and a Program Manager at IBM China, leading developmental efforts for IBM developerWorks China and IBM eBusiness Framework/WebSphere. Sheng Song holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Fudan University.
