Shenwei Liu holds a Master of Science in Information Science from Cornell University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Science from Kyoto University. Shenwei has significant experience in software engineering, beginning as a Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at Cornell University, where projects included the development of an ultra high-density infrared touch sensing array and a novel multi-touch surface using finger identification and proximity detection. Shenwei has also worked at Meta, where core contributions involved rewriting the UI for Messenger using ComponentKit and Litho, as well as designing an innovative video call grid with a cross-platform layout algorithm.
