Sherry Wang

Sherry (Ziyun) Wang is a skilled professional specializing in natural language processing and data science. At Kai Analytics from May 2023 to June 2023, Sherry contributed to the development of BERTopic and JOINTTS models, focusing on testing metrics and integrating them into the Unigrams pipeline. Prior experience includes serving as a Project Leader at UBC Visual Cognition Lab from May 2021 to April 2023, where Sherry implemented a visual search paradigm and developed web behavioral experiments. Currently, at Meta since October 2023, Sherry works as a Prompt Engineer through TEKSystems, building and optimizing data pipelines with Python and SQL while gaining experience in data annotation and LLM performance monitoring. Sherry holds a Bachelor of Science in Cognitive Science and a Master of Data Science with a focus on Computational Linguistics, both from The University of British Columbia.
