Shulin Cao

Shulin (Lynn) Cao is a Research Scientist at Meta, with a strong background in computational biology and bioinformatics, holding a Ph.D. from the University of California, San Diego. Prior to this role, Shulin served as a Teaching Assistant at the University of California, San Diego, and as a Research Assistant at Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Notable projects include gene regulatory network modeling and the development of e-commerce recommendation systems utilizing graph mining methodologies. Shulin has completed internships at the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Novartis Institutes for BioMedical Research, as well as a Machine Learning Engineer Internship at Facebook, focusing on user interest categorization and machine learning algorithm deployment.
