Shuo Tang is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive experience in software development and systems research. Tang holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where a postdoctoral fellowship was completed from July 2011 to August 2013. Previous roles include research internships at Microsoft Research Asia and Samsung Information Systems America. As a founder of Adrenaline Mobility from February 2012 to March 2014, Tang led the company through product development and acquisition by Twitter. Following a tenure as a Staff Software Engineer at Twitter, focusing on product safety, Tang has been serving as a Senior Engineering Manager at Meta since February 2017, overseeing multiple teams and initiatives to enhance the Human Operations Platform.
