Simone Campora is an experienced engineering manager currently at Meta since October 2019, leading teams focused on building asset pipelines and tools for Meta Avatars, as well as supporting Meta Spark experiences across various domains such as commerce and gaming. Prior to Meta, Simone served as an engineering manager at Amazon, where contributions included the development of mobile apps for Prime Video and significant expansions of Alexa's multimedia capabilities. As a senior technical program manager at Amazon, Simone also spearheaded the launch of Prime Video services in over 140 countries. Earlier career experiences include roles at Amadeus, managing engineering projects in reservations and data exchanges, and foundational work as a software engineer at Siemens in WebGIS rendering. Simone holds a Master's degree in Internet Computing from EPFL and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Università degli Studi di Genova.
