Siqing Wu has extensive experience in engineering and research, with a background in electrical engineering. As a Staff Engineer at Qualcomm from December 2012 to May 2022, Siqing developed a cycle-accurate performance model for the Display Processing Unit and created testing infrastructure while collaborating closely with the software team. Prior to Qualcomm, Siqing worked as a Research Assistant at Queen's University, focusing on speech emotion recognition and achieving state-of-the-art performance through feature optimization. With a foundation as a DSP Engineer at Fresco Microchip, Siqing implemented subsystem models and conducted performance analysis, while also carrying out field testing for customers. Currently, Siqing serves as a Software Engineer at Meta, specializing in modeling and virtual platforms. Siqing holds a B.Sc. and an M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Science and Technology of China and Queen's University, respectively.
