Siyu Yang

Siyu Yang is a highly skilled software engineer and data scientist with extensive experience in machine learning and data analysis. Siyu's career includes essential contributions at Microsoft, where development of customer journey data visualization tools and ML-powered code autocompletion occurred within the Visual Studio Data Science team. Siyu further advanced the AI for Earth initiative by applying computer vision techniques and developing open-source tools to support environmental data analysis. At Meta, Siyu has focused on machine learning infrastructure, working on scaling and modernizing training infrastructure for advertising models, as well as optimizing PyTorch model inference. Siyu holds a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Princeton University.
