Sohyun An is currently a PhD student at UCLA since September 2024, and concurrently serves as a Research Scientist Intern at Meta since June 2025. Prior experience includes a Summer Research Internship at SK hynix where Sohyun worked as a DRAM Circuit Design Engineer, a Research Internship at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology focusing on Machine Learning and AI, and an engineering role at Samsung Electronics concentrating on material development for advanced packaging. Sohyun also held positions as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Seoul National University, exploring topics in advanced energy materials and the effects of resistance drift in phase change memory.
