Sonja Killebrew

Sonja Killebrew, MFA, M.S.Ed, is an experienced instructional designer, educator, and content specialist with a diverse background in curriculum development, editing, and creative writing. Killebrew has served as an adjunct assistant professor at Baruch College, The City College of New York, and York College, where innovative teaching methods and AI tools are utilized to enrich student learning. Killebrew's professional experience includes roles as content engineer and prompt engineer for Google via GlobalLogic, managing editor for Fiction Magazine, and host of the Black America and Covid Podcast, all demonstrating a strong commitment to storytelling and educational empowerment. Killebrew holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Smith College, a Master's degree in Education from Walden University, and an MFA in Creative Writing from The City College of New York.
