Stephan Kim

Stephan Kim is an experienced technical recruiter with a robust background in sourcing and team building across various industries, including technology, data science, and engineering. At Meta since December 2017, Stephan has served as a Staff Technical Sourcer, focusing on product data science for the Facebook app and Instagram, and later on software engineering, project management, and device technology for Reality Labs. Prior to Meta, Stephan contributed to Plenty® as the first recruiter hire and led recruiting efforts at Sunrun, managing the complete hiring lifecycle and driving significant organizational growth during multiple acquisitions. Career highlights also include roles at Sears Holdings Corporation, Aflac, Cal-SOAP, and Pennzoil, along with early experience in the mobile haircut business. Stephan holds dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Behavioral & Social Psychology from UC San Diego and Psychology & Communications from Yonsei University.
