Stephen Deadman is a seasoned privacy and legal professional with extensive experience in high-level positions within leading technology and telecommunications companies. Currently serving as Vice President and Data Protection Officer at Meta since May 2018, Stephen previously held the role of Global Deputy Chief Privacy Officer at Facebook, where responsibilities included overseeing global privacy policy with a focus on international operations in Ireland. Prior to this, a significant tenure at Vodafone Group encompassed roles such as Group Privacy Officer and Head of Legal - Privacy, Security & Content Standards, where Stephen led the global privacy policy and strategy, and provided guidance on law enforcement and human rights.
