Stephen English

Stephen English is an accomplished engineering professional with a diverse background in software and embedded systems. Beginning a career at SciTech as a Junior Assistant, Stephen progressed to a Task Leader role, engaging with young scientists for fifteen years. Following this, Stephen contributed as a Software Engineer at Facebook, focusing on the Workplace platform's core privacy calculations and group functionalities. Stephen's expertise further expanded at Navetas Energy Management Ltd as a Senior Embedded Engineer and Embedded Project Lead, where leading a team to integrate advanced machine learning algorithms into cost-effective products became a key responsibility. Currently serving as an Engineering Manager at Meta, Stephen continues to support teams developing the Workplace platform. Stephen holds a Master’s degree in Electronic Engineering from the University of Southampton, completed in 2008.
