Stephen Huang

Stephen Huang is a computer science student at the University of Waterloo, expected to graduate in 2026. Stephen has undertaken multiple internships, including roles as a Software Engineer Intern at Meta and Marsh McLennan, where web page enhancements were implemented and scalability improved. As a Data Scientist Intern at Compass Digital, Stephen focused on automating restock processes using large language models and achieved significant improvements in evaluation metrics. Experience also includes a Software Engineer Intern position at Invafresh, developing unit tests and building performance testing environments, as well as a Machine Learning Engineer Intern role at Met-Scan Canada, where notable successes included building high-accuracy object detection models and implementing indoor localization solutions.
