Stephen Varady

Stephen Varady is a seasoned product designer with extensive experience in building and leading design initiatives across diverse organizations. Currently positioned as a Product Designer at Meta since September 2020, Stephen previously held roles including Product Design Manager and Product Designer at AngelList, and Product Designer at Beme, contributing to projects like a new news service for CNN. As cofounder and CEO of Slang Inc. from October 2014 to October 2017, Stephen successfully scaled the platform to over 250K users and achieved significant revenue milestones while overseeing comprehensive app design and development. Additionally, Stephen gained recognition as a Designer-in-Residence at 30 Weeks, an incubator supported by Google, and led design efforts at Thomas Phifer and Partners for major architectural projects. Stephen holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree with a minor in Business Administration from the University of Oregon.
