Steve Holden has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, beginning as a Plant and Comms Electrician at BAE Systems from September 1979 to April 1984. Following this, Steve held various roles at Cable & Wireless (Marine) Ltd. until July 1999 and then transitioned to Level 3 Communications as a Senior Project Manager and Engineering Support Manager, overseeing key projects including the Tangerine submarine cable system. From July 2010 to February 2025, Steve worked at GMSL as Maintenance Account Director, focusing on customer advocacy and contract renewals. Currently, Steve serves as a Network Operations Engineer Infrastructure (Subsea) at Meta since February 2025, and previously held the position of Senior Submarine Support Manager and Senior PM in Marine Maintenance. Additionally, Steve manages agreements for ACMA and NAZ, leading a small team in maintenance services and cable protection.
