Steven Chen

Steven Chen is a highly skilled professional with a strong background in machine learning and biomedical engineering. Steven served as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, where research focused on age-related macular degeneration. Following this, Steven gained extensive experience as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer at Amazon, where Smart Sifting was developed for AWS Sagemaker, streamlining model training. At ShortTok, Steven contributed to the automation and personalization of video content creation as a Senior Machine Learning Engineer. Currently, Steven is a Software Engineer at Meta. Earlier research experiences include investigations into decision-making and action recognition at Johns Hopkins University’s Biomedical Engineering and Computer Science departments. Steven holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
