Subbu Subramanian

Subbu Subramanian is an experienced engineering director at Meta since September 2008, focusing on the development of reliable, efficient, and scalable AI infrastructure to support AI/ML workloads. In addition, Subbu serves as an adjunct professor at the University of San Francisco since August 2022, where the emphasis is on continuous learning through teaching. Prior entrepreneurial experience includes co-founding Viralizr, where the focus was on creating social collaboration applications. Previous roles include vice president of business solutions and director of solutions architecture at Tavant Technologies, as well as a research staff member at IBM Research. Subbu began a career in technology with an internship at HP Labs. Subbu holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science with a specialization in Database Systems from Concordia University and a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra.
