Sue Young is the current Product Group Lead for AR Glasses at Meta. Prior to their current position, they served as Director of Product Management at Facebook from June 2012 to January 2020. During their time at Facebook, they led the team responsible for driving the company's efforts across their ecosystem, including Growth, Discovery, Business Tools, Ads, and Ticketing. Sue also worked on the Places and Marketplace products. Prior to their time at Facebook, Young interned at the company from May to August 2011.

Before their work in the tech industry, Young worked as an engineer at Motorola from June to August 2004. Sue then spent four years at IBM from September 2006 to March 2010 working in their Strategy & Change Internal Practice.

Sue Young started their educational career by getting their B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Sue then got their M.Eng. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the same school. After working for a few years, they decided to go back to school and got their MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
