Susmit B. is an experienced engineering leader at Meta, where they lead a Privacy Infrastructure team focused on enforcing privacy policies and enhancing data understanding through machine learning at scale. Prior to this role, Susmit worked at Uber, overseeing a team dedicated to improving map experiences and building data pipelines, and at AMD, where they contributed to high-performance microprocessor simulation. Susmit's career began with internships at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, culminating in a postdoctoral role focused on memory allocation for large applications. They hold a PhD in Computer Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur.
