Ta-Yu Wu is an experienced engineer with a robust background in application and system engineering. Ta-Yu Wu began a career in electrical engineering at SPAWAR, focusing on GPS R&D from June 2006 to September 2011, before progressing to senior application engineering roles at sTec, Inc. and HGST, a Western Digital brand, between 2011 and 2016. Currently serving as a System Engineer at Meta since June 2016, Ta-Yu Wu is responsible for next-generation platform architecture and technology enablement for hyper-scale services, and co-authored the OCP Cloud SSD specification. Ta-Yu Wu holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The University of Texas at Austin.
