Tai Yu is an experienced hardware engineering professional with a career spanning over 18 years. Starting as a System Design Engineer at AMD in 2007, Tai Yu transitioned to a Hardware Verification Engineer role at Molex before joining Research In Motion as a Senior Hardware Verification Developer. Following this, a position as an MS Surface Hardware Engineer at Microsoft was held from 2012 to 2015. Tai Yu then served as the Hardware Validation Tech Manager at Google, focusing on Pixel Phones and Chromebooks, before joining Meta in 2019. At Meta, Tai Yu progressed from Hardware Engineering Manager to Sr. Manager of Hardware Design Integrity, leading efforts in PCB design, SIPI/EMC design, hardware sustaining engineering, and EE/ME lab infrastructure support within the Metaverse and VR domains.
