Thomas Grubb

Thomas Grubb is a seasoned machine learning professional with experience in various roles within the field. Thomas served as a Machine Learning Intern at Instacart, contributing to the knowledge graphs team, and later held positions as a Machine Learning Engineer at both Coupang and Meta, focusing on eCommerce search relevance modeling and retrieval for Facebook Reels, respectively. Academic experience includes a Graduate Teaching Assistant role at UC San Diego, as well as research positions at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory and East Tennessee State University. Thomas holds a PhD in Mathematics from the University of California San Diego and a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Michigan State University, both achieved with a 4.0 GPA.
