Thomas Scialom, PhD, has a diverse background in quantitative finance and artificial intelligence. Thomas began his career as an Equity Portfolio Manager Assistant at Groupe Amilton and worked as a Quantitative Trading Researcher at TradingTimer. From February 2015 to February 2017, Thomas held a role in Exotic Commodity Derivatives Trading at Societe Generale Corporate and Investment Banking. Subsequently, as a Partner at Récital from April 2017 to July 2022, Thomas showcased expertise in various domains. Since January 2016, Thomas has also been involved in public speaking on artificial intelligence, presenting at prestigious institutions including Google and Stanford. Currently, Thomas serves as an AI Research Scientist at Meta, focusing on generative AI and large language models. Academic qualifications include an Engineer’s Degree from ESILV, a Diplôme Universitaire from Ensae ParisTech, Executive Education from École Polytechnique, and a PhD from Sorbonne University.
