Thomas Tran

Thomas Tran is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in privacy program management, business advisory services, and consulting across various sectors. Currently serving as a Privacy Program Manager at Meta since August 2022, Thomas manages two global programs. Previously, Thomas held the title of Principal at Slalom from November 2018 to July 2022, overseeing consulting engagements in multiple areas including strategy and operations. Prior to that, Thomas worked at Deloitte where roles included Senior Consultant in Cyber Strategy and other positions in Strategy & Operations between August 2016 and November 2018. Additional experience includes founding Translate Consulting, advising start-ups, and serving as a Financial Analyst at Bay Federal Credit Union. Currently, Thomas is an advisor for the Strategic AI Program at the University of San Francisco. Thomas holds a B.A. in Business Management Economics with a focus on Technology Information Management from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
