Tian Wang is an accomplished researcher and software engineer with a strong academic background in physics and electrical engineering, holding multiple degrees from North Carolina State University and the University of Science and Technology of China. Experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at North Carolina State University, where Tian developed simulation tools and Bayesian learning models for patient-doctor networks and social network analysis. Subsequently, Tian joined IBM as a Staff Software Engineer focusing on machine learning and natural language processing, and further contributed as a Software Developer during an internship. Currently, Tian serves as a Senior Staff Research Scientist at Meta, leading initiatives related to regulated ads and optimizing advertising outcomes, and also participates as a Program Committee Member at the ACM Conference on Fairness, Accountability, and Transparency.
