Tiberiu Tesileanu is an experienced researcher with a strong background in neuroscience and machine learning. Tiberiu worked as an Associate Research Scientist at the Simons Foundation from July 2018 to September 2023, focusing on biologically plausible neural network models and contributing to software development for cross-functional teams. Prior to this role, Tiberiu served as a Visiting Assistant Professor at The Graduate Center, City University of New York, from August 2014 to June 2018, tackling challenges in systems biology and computational neuroscience while mentoring interns and developing software.
