Tiffany Deng

Tiffany (Siqi) Deng is an accomplished applied scientist and engineering manager with significant expertise in artificial intelligence, computer vision, and machine learning. Tiffany's recent role at Amazon as a Senior Applied Scientist focused on responsible AI and large-scale vision-language models. Prior experiences include positions as an Applied Science Manager and Applied Scientist at Amazon, where Tiffany worked on face perception and human activity recognition. At Tsinghua University, Tiffany contributed to public security management by developing algorithms for anomaly detection in surveillance videos. Additionally, Tiffany has held research assistant roles at both Carnegie Mellon University and Meta, focusing on deep learning algorithms for pedestrian and vehicle detection. Tiffany earned a Master's degree in Computer Vision from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Engineering in Digital Media Technology from Communication University of China.
