Tigar Cyr

Tigar Cyr is a professional with a background in mechanical engineering and computer science, having earned a Bachelor's Degree from Princeton University between 2016 and 2020. Tigar Cyr gained initial experience as an intern at the University of Cincinnati Laser Shock Peening Lab in 2015, contributing to material testing for experiments. In subsequent roles, Tigar Cyr completed software engineering internships at Pure Storage in 2019, focusing on containerization and optimization of microservices, and at Princeton University, participating in summer research within the Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department. Tigar Cyr further developed skills as a System Engineer at Microsoft since August 2020, where responsibilities include designing and maintaining backend networks for HPC systems, and currently serves as a Software Engineer at Meta since January 2025.
