Timon Karnezos

Timon Karnezos is an accomplished engineering director with extensive experience in developing measurement products and systems for major technology companies. At Meta, Timon currently oversees the Avatars & Identity team, after previously leading a large organization of over 300 engineers at Facebook to create a scientifically rigorous ads measurement platform. Prior experience includes serving as a tech lead at Topspin Media, where Timon contributed to the development of a direct-to-consumer platform for musicians, and as a senior scientific programmer and R&D director at Aggregate Knowledge, focusing on ad measurement technologies. Timon also held a leadership role in infrastructure at Neustar, enhancing measurement capabilities following an acquisition. Timon holds a degree in Mathematics from the University of Chicago.
