Tom Evans

Tom Evans is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in military law and corporate legal practice. From January 2019 to September 2021, Tom served as the Law of Armed Conflict Department Head at the United States Navy Office of the Judge Advocate General, providing critical legal advice during operational deployments in the Arabian Gulf and Indian Ocean. Tom has held various leadership positions in defence logistics and acted as Command Legal Advisor to key military commands, including NATO Maritime Command Headquarters, where Tom advised on complex legal issues arising from geopolitical conflicts. Following military service, Tom worked as an Associate at DAC Beachcroft LLP and as a Pupil Barrister at Red Lion Chambers, gaining expertise in fraud, bribery legislation, and international legal matters. Currently, Tom holds the position of Associate General Counsel - Security at Meta, with a focus on international law.
