Tom Li is an experienced display engineer currently working at Meta since July 2022. Previously, Tom held the position of Senior Display Engineer at Apple Inc from September 2014 to July 2022, where responsibilities included technology development for display modules and integration for various Apple products. Prior to Apple, Tom served as Senior Scientist and Project Manager at Oplink, focusing on fiber optical component design, and as Senior Scientist at Plastic Knowledge Inc., leading the development of all-plastic flexible displays. Tom also managed R&D at Nano Loa Inc, contributing to emerging display and photonics technologies. Academic qualifications include a Postdoctoral Fellowship in Liquid Crystals and Photonics from Queen's University and a Master's and PhD in Optoelectronics from Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology.
