Tom Mayo

Tom Mayo is an experienced Data Scientist currently working at Meta since September 2021, and previously at Facebook. Prior to these roles, Tom led a data science team at Babylon Health from May 2019 to August 2021, where responsibilities included developing strategies and delivering projects while managing and training team members. Tom's analytical background includes a position at BlackRock as an Analyst on the Multi-Asset Portfolio Strategy team, as well as a Data Modeller for the Scottish Fiscal Commission. Tom's academic credentials include a Master's degree in Neuroinformatics and a PhD in Machine Learning for Epigenetics, both awarded by the University of Edinburgh, along with a Master of Mathematics from the University of Oxford.
