Tom Rong

Tom Rong has extensive experience in engineering and management roles, beginning as a Lead Engineering Project Manager at Merial in 2008. Tom transitioned to Intel, serving as a Process Engineer from 2010 to 2013, and later as a Senior Etch Development Engineer and External Foundry Product Quality and Reliability Manager until 2019. Currently, Tom is a Business Program Manager at Meta, focusing on AI silicon and infrastructure since 2022. Tom oversees significant budgets and long-range resource planning for Meta’s MTIA, supporting global talent growth initiatives. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
