Tomáš Chvátal

Tomáš Chvátal is a Software Engineering Manager with extensive experience in Linux development, particularly in packaging, distribution release management, and security. They have held managerial roles at Meta, where they currently lead initiatives related to privacy infrastructure, and previously managed a team at SUSE focused on critical updates and security projects. With a background in development at Gentoo Linux and web development roles, Tomáš has been actively engaged in the open-source community, contributing to various projects and standards. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Informatics from Czech University of Life Sciences Prague.
