Tomer Orgad

Tomer Orgad is a seasoned machine learning professional with extensive experience in data science and systems analysis. Beginning a career as a Systems Analyst at Intel Corporation, Tomer participated in the predictive analytics group, focusing on machine learning solutions and leading system analysis throughout project life cycles. Following this, Tomer held the position of Data Scientist at BioCatch from September 2015 to December 2020, where responsibilities included building end-to-end machine learning solutions and developing algorithmic frameworks for behavioral identity proofing and financial fraud detection. From December 2020 to September 2024, Tomer continued as a Data Scientist at Meta before advancing to the role of Machine Learning Engineer at Meta in September 2024. Additionally, Tomer served as a team leader in the Israeli Defense Forces from August 2006 to August 2009. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Tel Aviv University and a Master of Science in Information Systems Engineering with a focus on Machine Learning and Big-Data Analytics from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
