Tong Liu

Tong Liu has extensive experience in software engineering and research. At University College Dublin, Tong served as a Research Assistant, developing a JAVA program for simulating search engine results and evaluating them using various metrics. Tong later interned at Google, where responsibilities included building mocked vendors for end-to-end testing of customer file pipelines and designing MapReduce jobs for processing requests from Google Cloud storage. Since March 2018, Tong has been a Software Engineer at Meta, contributing to innovative projects in the field. Tong holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Carnegie Mellon University, obtained between 2016 and 2017.
