Tongyang Liu

Tongyang Liu is a data professional with extensive experience in data analysis and data science. At ICF, from June 2017 to January 2022, Tongyang contributed to a national cancer surveillance program, focusing on data collection to drive actionable insights for cancer prevention and treatment improvement. Currently, as a Data Scientist at Meta since January 2022, Tongyang works on communication platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. Additionally, Tongyang served as a Research Assistant at Georgetown University's McDonough School of Business in late 2015, where research efforts centered on sovereign debt and the 2008 financial crisis, utilizing SAS software for data organization and econometric analyses. Tongyang Liu holds a Master's degree in Applied Economics and a Master of Science in Analytics from Georgetown University, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Nankai University.
