Tony Lin is an experienced hardware engineering professional with a strong background in laptop system hardware and platform engineering. Tony began a career at ASUS as a Senior Hardware Engineer from October 2004 to May 2009, followed by a role as Hardware Engineering Manager at Acer until October 2013. After transitioning to Google, Tony held the position of Staff Hardware Engineer and Manager from October 2013 to August 2022, leading projects for the ChromeOS platform and developing advanced hardware solutions. Subsequently, Tony served as Principal MTS - Platform Hardware Engineer/Manager at Rivos Inc. from August 2022 to December 2025, driving project development from concept to implementation. Currently, Tony holds the title of Staff Hardware Engineer at Meta since December 2025. Tony holds a Master of Science in Bioengineering and Biomedical Engineering from National Yang Ming University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from National Taipei University of Technology.
