Tony Wang

Tony Wang is an accomplished engineering manager and machine learning expert with extensive experience in developing innovative solutions at leading technology companies. At Meta, Tony Wang has focused on enhancing job recommendation algorithms and currently leads the Avatar ML Foundation team, driving advancements in computer vision and recommendation technology for the Metaverse. Previous roles include software engineer at Google, where performance optimization of TensorFlow was a key responsibility, and a summer research intern at Cadence Design Systems, where a graph-based model order reduction algorithm was developed. Tony Wang also holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from Texas A&M University, where research involved machine learning for circuit verification and optimization.
