Tuan Wong

Tuan Wong has extensive experience in electrical engineering, with a focus on augmented reality (AR) technology. Tuan served at Microsoft from September 2016 to June 2019, holding positions as Director and Senior Director of Electrical Engineering for HoloLens, where responsibilities included system integration, custom silicon development, and product launches for HoloLens v1 and v2. Prior roles included Principal and Senior Electrical Engineer, leading AR prototype development and demonstrating expertise in FPGA designs and various electronic interfaces. Following Microsoft, Tuan worked at Meta as Electrical Engineering Manager for Facebook AR/VR and is currently the Director of AR Electrical Engineering at Meta. Earlier career experience includes roles at Cisco Systems, Cypress Semiconductor, and HP, where Tuan contributed to product design and ASIC development. Tuan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Washington.
