Tuomas Pelkonen has a robust background in software engineering with over two decades of experience in various roles across the technology sector. Starting as a Software Engineer at SSH Communications Security from June 2000 to March 2005, Tuomas continued to develop skills at Navicore Ltd, F-Secure Corporation, and Meta, where an extensive tenure lasted from February 2011 to November 2022. Tuomas co-founded Time Atlas Labs in Helsinki as a Distinguished Fellow from October 2024 to July 2025 and served as VP of Engineering at Rentle between February 2023 and October 2023. Following this, Tuomas took on the role of Technical Advisor at Rentle until January 2024. A software engineering position at Meta re-commenced in September 2025.
