Ty Huang

Ty Huang is an experienced data scientist with a diverse background in statistical consulting and software development. At the University of Texas at Austin, Ty served as a Graduate Statistics Consultant, assisting faculty and graduate students with statistical analyses and training in various software tools. As a Data Scientist at Vanguard, Ty developed an ETL pipeline for processing clickstream data to enhance customer insights. During a fellowship at Insight Data Science, Ty created TagMe, a web extension for auto-generating social media hashtags using natural language processing. Currently, Ty works as a Data Scientist in Analytics at Meta, building upon a strong foundation that includes experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the Texas Advanced Computing Center, where Ty developed scientific applications and parallelized algorithms.
